Delete your Apti account
Apti is made by Codepackers Software Solutions Pvt Ltd. You can delete your account at any time. Deleting it removes you from every organization you joined in Apti.
In the app
- Open Apti and tap your picture at the top right.
- Tap Account, then Delete my account.
- Confirm. You are signed out on every device.
If you are the main owner of a shop or another listing, hand it over to a co-owner first. The app tells you.
Without the app
Email support@codepackers.com from the email address or mobile number on your account, with your Apti login ID. We check it is you and reply within 30 days.
What happens
- For 30 days your account is switched off. Signing in again in that time cancels the deletion.
- After 30 days your profile, photo, addresses, locations, connections and the files you sent are deleted. Your name shows as "Deleted account".
- Messages you sent stay in the other person's chat, under "Deleted account".
- If you signed in with Google or Facebook, that connection is deleted with your profile after 30 days. To end it sooner, open Profile > Account > Connected accounts in the app and disconnect it, or remove Apti from the apps connected to your Google or Facebook account. Apti keeps only the account's ID, name and email from Google or Facebook, and only to sign you in.
- Your registration details (login ID, mobile number, email, and any tax ID you gave) are kept for 180 days after deletion, as Indian law requires, then deleted.
- Records that belong to an organization you were in, such as orders and payment requests with a shop, stay with that organization. Reports and sign-in records are kept for the periods in our privacy policy.
